Plain in the city

A plain Quaker folk singer with a Juris Doctorate in his back pocket, salt in his blood, and a set of currach oars in the closet, Ulleann Pipes under his arm, guitar on his back, Anglo Irish baggage, wandering through New York City ... in constant amaze. Hmmmm...

You Should Get a JD (Juris Doctor)

You're logical, driven, and ruthless.
You'd make a mighty fine lawyer.

I wonder if I could put this on my resume?

Huh. Got the same answer.

(No, I don't have my J.D. but I work with lawyers.)

And here I was thinking a good way to express both my creativity and my desire to help people might be to get a counselling degree from a program that lets you explore the Jungian side of the force...

Wish I could see what the other options were.

'You Should Get a PhD in Liberal Arts (like political science, literature, or philosophy)' go figure! I'm going to do Theology with a pinch of Philosophy. he he. Not sure why it's called a 'Liberal' art, though.

The one about who I am in class was hard to pick... I do all of those things. I went for 'argues with the professor' in the end.
